Alwelyn Striael was born in Taldor, a beautiful young Aasimar to Sir Geoff Striael, a Paladin of Ragathiel, and Kalmys Blueleaf, an elven emissary and Cleric of Desna.
Alwelyn was a gorgeous child, her skin a lustrous bronze sheer, her hair the color of spun gold, her eyes polished obsidian in color. She was raised in the Elven tradition, at the behest of her mother. She was a student of the planes and engineering, but found her true calling in following in her fathers steps in the church. She spent hours pouring over the tomes detailing the ancient gods and legends.
When not in the library, she spent time with her grandfather focusing her natural talents in craftsmanship, learning how to interweave magic and crafting to create magical weapons, armor and artifacts.
While studying the Empyerial Lords, she felt her calling leap from the pages of the history book. Her lord and creator, Ragathiel, called her. Speaking from the pages the book, Ragathiel ordered her to join his calling.
She took her trade skills and her newfound religious calling to Mendev and joined the Crusades at the World Wound. She spent years crafting weapons and armor for the Crusaders, occasionally joining the campaigns there.
As her power grew, so did the gaze of Ragathiel. He came to her in the night, an aged paladin off to wage battle, telling her of a great blight in the City of Korvosa, where a true believer, and agent of Heaven, was trying to stem the tide of chaos and disorder.
Decamping with all she could carry, she arrived in Korvosa and joined the fledgling Church of Ragathiel and its lord and master, Aerich Whitecloak. She contines to craft weapons, armor and items for the members of the church as they grow in power, trying to counterbalance the effects of the effects of the Church of Asmodeous.
She has earned a reputation as a master craftswoman, but serves first and foremost as a Cleric of Ragathiel.
